WBSSC Assistant Teacher Notification Info
Assistant Teacher (IX-X): 23212 Posts
- Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution, or (b) 4–year degree of B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed. from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Assistant Teachers (Classes XI and XII): 12514 Posts
- Qualification: Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognised University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution; Or (b) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognised University and B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognised institution.
